It contains the assembly, insulation board, packing, sealing ring, short tube and so on. Insulating joint is an improved replacement product according to the problems existing in the use of insulating flange. It is an essential and important pressure element in the cathodic protection system of steel pipeline and is widely used in the cathodic protection system of steel pipeline. Our company has adopted a unique design to overcome the disadvantages of small stiffness of the insulating flange, easy to leak, can not be buried, short life and so on, and realize the function of buried maintenance-free. The service life of the insulating joint is the same as that of the supporting pipeline.

Insulating joint is an improved replacement product according to the problems existing in the use of insulating flange. The service life of the insulating joint is the same as that of the supporting pipeline.

Insulating joints shall be integrally extruded and welded, and shall not be connected by bolts or flanges. The insulating joint takes the form of sandwiching and fixing the insulating and sealing material in the sleeve (assembly). After the insulation joint is assembled, fix the internal components in the corresponding position. The entire insulated joint shall remain intact under soil pressure, specified pipe operating pressure, and in-plant or field water pressure tests. The insulating joint sealing element is close to the insulating plate inside the joint and has permanent elasticity, and the two sides of the sealing element directly contact with the bare metal surface will not move, ensuring the tightness of the joint.

This product is mainly used in oil, natural gas, hydrocarbons, water, steam and corrosive liquids and other media pipeline anti-corrosion cathodic protection. Different pipe materials can be used according to user requirements, such as: high-strength carbon steel, austenitic stainless steel, and double joints; different pipes can also be mixed and connected, such as: carbon steel and stainless steel, steel and copper, steel and titanium, etc. The terminals of the insulated joints of the integral pipeline have been processed in the factory, and there are many connection methods for users to choose: such as flange connection, threaded connection, threaded connection with valve and welded connection.

Product features:

(1) Good insulation performance: the insulation resistance is 10MΩ, which improves the operating life of the protected pipeline.

(2) Long service life: same service life and equal strength as pipeline;

(3) high strength: the use of secondary sealing structure, coupled with the annular space between the two flanges into the polymer composite material, to achieve the same life with the pipeline, than the insulation flange life increased by many times;

(4) Buried installation: underground installation does not need to set up observation wells, can be directly buried in the ground;

(5) automatic lightning protection: automatic protection structure can be set according to user requirements, when the induced charge reaches a certain value, the discharge starts, and the insulation is automatically restored after lightning strike. Dynamic restoration of source insulation;

(6) Use temperature:-30 ℃ -90 ℃.

(7) Applicable medium: oil, gas, water, chemical raw materials, coal slurry, etc.

Quality requirements:

(1) Insulation resistance: DC 1000V resistance ≥ 6MΩ;

(2) insulation strength: 2500V 50Hz 1 minute no breakdown or arc;

(3) Hydrostatic test pressure: 1.5 times the design pressure;

(4) Airtight test pressure: equivalent to design pressure;

(5) Non-destructive testing: 100% radiographic testing for all butt joints and 100% magnetic particle testing for other pressure-bearing welds in accordance with the JB4730-94;

(6) Groove: API5L standard is adopted.
