Description of anode installation construction site:
During construction, when the anode steel core is connected with the cable, we usually use solder infusion to reduce the contact resistance. At the same time, the insulation seal at the connection should be maintained. First, epoxy resin glass cloth should be covered, and then heat shrinkable sleeve should be used to seal and insulate. If the anode end face of the anode steel core is coated with epoxy resin to ensure that the end face does not work, and the other five sides should be cleaned, place in a cotton pocket with anodic filler. This better ensure that our magnesium anode plays a better role!The anode needs to be used with our anode cable in the construction. The anode cable used can be selected as 10mm2 cable, which can be vv-1kv/1x10mm2.
magnesium alloy sacrificial anode installation process:
Magnesium alloy sacrificial anode and steel pipe can be directly welded to the steel pipe by using aluminum hot flux. Before installation, first cut a 100mm * 100mm welding joint on the anti-corrosion layer of the pipe, or adjust the size of the welding joint accordingly according to the welding construction situation. And clean the welding mouth to keep the surface dry and clean to ensure the welding quality. After welding, repair the damage with a patch, carefully repair the anti-corrosion layer at the welding place, and ensure the sealing and insulation of the place.
How should the anode be backfilled during installation? What should I pay attention?
The anode shall be installed in the anode pit for backfilling, and the backfilling soil shall not contain bricks, stones, etc. If the pit is relatively dry, should be outside the anode bag covered with a thin layer of soil, to the pit irrigation, so that the anode bag filling saturation full of water, and then backfill and tamping, restore the floor.
In the process of embedding magnesium anode, a test pile is set up at intervals of 1km, and a test cable is welded at each test pile. When welding cables, we shall use an aluminothermic welding mold for welding, and after welding, use a patch to carry out anti-corrosion treatment on the welding points.
Each test pile is equipped with a long-term reference electrode. Excavate the reference electrode pit at the test pile (before putting the reference electrode into the pit, soak the anode body for more than 5 hours), put the reference electrode into the pit, and place the reference electrode as close to the pipeline as possible to reduce the IR drop between the pipeline and the reference. Then backfill, backfill as far as possible do not include stones. In the future daily maintenance, how to carry out a simple maintenance operation? When embedding the reference electrode, we need to connect the reference electrode lead to the terminal of the test pile, and open the test pile door during daily maintenance to test the protection potential and understand the operation of the cathodic protection system and the protection of the pipeline.
